Microneedling ( Collagen Induction Therapy)

Microneedling is a minimally invasive treatment in which a Certified Skin Care Specialist creates tiny punctures in the skin using micro-fine needles (from 0.5 to 2 millimeters in diameter). This triggers the body's wound healing process, stimulating collagen & elastin production. It is safe for use on most parts of the body, but most commonly used on the face,neck,chest ,thigh and stomach area.

When choosing where to have your microneedling done, PLEASE BE SURE to inquire about the device being used for your own safety. Many devices are not safe and do not use medical grade needles. My Eclipse MicroPen Evo is 100% safe and uses medical grade needles & safety measures to ensure proper needle depth at all times!

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

A series of 3-6 treatments, 4-8 weeks apart, is recommended depending on the area and condition being treated. Your Certified Specialist will advise you on how many treatments might suit your individual needs.

When you book a series of 3 consecutive treatments you receive a discounted price.

When will I See Results?

Most clients will begin to see results after the first appointment & will continue to improve for 3 months post treatment. Following the procedure, the skin will appear red for 12-48 hours, may feel tight like a sunburn—and minor bleeding or bruising may occur. As you heal minor peeling or flaking can occur and it is recommended to apply a good moisturizer & sunscreen.

Does It Hurt?

A topical numbing agent is applied to the area before the treatment in order to keep you very comfortable during the treatment.

After Care

Avoid intentional and direct sunlight/heat for at least 24 hours
Always use sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher
Products rich in soothing ingredients are best to encourage new,healthy cell growth. Peptides,antioxidants,vitamins A,C and E work very well.
DO NOT apply make up for a minimum of 12 hours post treatment.
DO NOT apply Alpha Hydroxy Acids,Beta Hydroxy Acid, Retinol (Vitamin A), Vitamin C or anything perceived as "active" skincare for at least 3 days post treatment.

You may resume home skin care regime when skin is done flaking.
DO NOT pick,scratch or peel the area.
DO NOT go swimming for at least 24 hours. NO strenuous activity or exercise for 24 hours post treatment.
DRINK plenty of water
DO NOT take any anti-inflammatory medications ( ADVIL)
If an infection did occur, an antibiotic or antiviral medication should be administered by a physician.

Price

$250 per session for one area ( for the entire face & under chin.

An additional $50 for a new area ( ex: chest)

BOOKING FEE

A non-refundable booking/set up fee of $25 will be required on all Microneedling appointments. The amount will be taken off your final amount owing. If you rebook within 48 hours, the amount will be transferred to the new booking. NO EXCEPTIONS
